Qigong is considered to be the most important branch of Chinese Medicine. it provides a practice that encourages self-recovery, awareness to develop one’s inner and out strengths, and increases development of self-reliance. In fact, many are familiar with Tai-Chi, which is considered a form of Qigong. Qigong is the “Mother of Tai-Chi,” an ancient practice of graceful, smooth flowing exercises in the healing tradition of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. It is suitable for any age or abilities.
Benefits of Qigong:
Acupuncture is the practice of penetrating the skin with thin, solid, metallic needles which are then activated through gentle and specific movements of the practitioner's hands or with electrical stimulation. Acupuncture is done using hair-thin needles. Most people report feeling minimal pain as the needle is inserted. The needle is inserted to a point that produces a sensation of pressure or ache. Needles may be heated during the treatment or mild electric current may be applied to them.
